Summer Headquarters Interns will begin work on May 27, 2008, and end on July 27, 2008. Qualifications

College students who have experience working with teenagers, have completed at least two semesters of college by January 2008 (actual attendance at your institution of higher education - this is not based on credit hours completed), have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and are currently enrolled in a four-year degree program may apply (recent college graduates may also apply). Students majoring in political science, communications, history, education, journalism (print and photo in particular), business or hotel-restaurant management, sociology or psychology will find these internships beneficial, but all majors are welcome.

College Credit

You may earn college credit through your college or university for PC internships. Schools usually grant between six and 14 credit hours for working with the program, depending upon the session for which you are accepted. You should meet with your academic advisers and / or internship coordinator to arrange credit. You will then supply these requirements, contact information and related paperwork to the PC Logistics Manager upon acceptance to the internship program. We encourage you to develop a project / paper relevant to your major and your experience at Presidential Classroom. This should be completed during your internship.
